The Upstate Orthopedics Lights on the Lake 5K Run & 5K Walk

Registration is CLOSED - there will be no more sign-ups. The 5k Walk & 5k Run are ONLY for paid participants with registration confirmation.

In celebration of the 35th anniversary, Lights on the Lake will hold a 5K RUN on Sunday, November 24th at 6am at Onondaga Lake Park!
The early start time of the race allows for runners to view the lights while running as the sun rises!

The race starts and ends at the Marina Parking Lot within Onondaga Lake Park and proceeds down the Lights on the Lake route. Registration is $35 and each participant will receive a 2024 Lights on the Lake beanie and other great swag! Top finishers in each age group will receive a unique 2024 Lights on the Lake 5K ornament!

The race is capped at 750 runners!

NEW THIS YEAR: Lights on the Lake will hold a 5K WALK on Saturday, November 23rd at 6am at Onondaga Lake Park! We are bringing back a fan favorite but in a different style. The Lights on the Lake WALK has an early start time of 6am to allow our walkers to view the lights while walking along the lake as the sun rises! The 5K walk is the same route as the 5K run BUT the 5K walk will NOT be timed. Walker bibs will be mandatory for each participant.
