Second Chance Adoption Shelter Vision: The Second Chance Adoption Shelter opened its doors in 2015 to help give LOCAL dogs from the CNY community a second chance by pulling them from our overcrowded Syracuse City Shelter! Since then over 600 dogs have been adopted!

Salute the Troops Night- Smurfit WestRock is proud to sponsor our Salute the Troops Night! On Wednesday, November 20th, Lights on the Lake will support the men and women who work tirelessly to protect our country and invite any active military or veteran to drive through, for free, on Salute the Troops Night. Online reservations are not needed but a military ID will be required at the ticket booth. Lights on the Lake will be conducting a food drive during the Salute the Troops Night this year. Feed Our Vets organization will be at the event collecting canned goods at the ticket booth. With inflation on the rise, the demand for their services have increased dramatically. The Feed Our Vets mission is to leave no Veteran or military member on the battlefield of hunger. Since 2009, they have served over 40,000 CNY Veterans, military members, and their families by distributing over 2.9 million pounds of groceries and $211,000 in gift cards.

Closing Charity Night - CFCU is proud to sponsor Lights on the Lake’s Closing Charity Night on January 13th, 2025. Lights on the Lake will be extended one additional night to support a non-profit within our community. Visitors will have one more opportunity to visit the show, for the reduced rate of $5 per vehicle, to say goodbye to the holiday season. More information on the Closing Charity Night will be announced soon!
